Are pre-releases okay?

So I'm just listening to Action Pact, the new Sloan album, right now at work. Of course it's not out until the 19th, and I can't even find it for pre-order yet. Do I feel bad for downloading it? I don't think so. I'm just that excited that I need it now. I actually received a tape of Between the Bridges a month before it came out, and pre-ordered that. I plan to pre-order this one, and see them when they come to town. I'm just impatient!!!!!
