( Boring technical post that I'm posting for Google )
The end result of this is that I now have my existing phone line on Vonage, and am paying $40 and something cents (tax included) a month for unlimited in-province calling and 500 minutes to the rest of North America with all the features. Before I was paying $45-$55 a month, and didn't have the included minutes to the US, nor did I have call waiting, call display, or the other services that no one uses.
If anyone's considering moving to Vonage, there's a referral deal on now that gives new customers a free month after the first three months. I get two free months out of it, so hey, I'm not doing this for free, but if you're interested let me know and I can send along the offer.
