Lots I haven't been updating about

I don't know if I will ever get around to this in detail, but we did move in last week, and it's going well in the new house with the exception of ExpressVu, which will hopefully be resolved on Saturday. I have a new role at work, but I've been doing it since February or so, so it's good. I'm riding the bus more, which means I should hit the library or something. That's allI can think of right this second.

This is crazy

Amazon's Mechanical Turk
I can picture exactly how this came about. The developers are sitting around brainstorming on a problem, one of them makes a joking wish for a Mechanical Turk, and then keep going with the idea and realize that they could just pay the internet at large to do this.
Although reading about how spammers have redirected CAPTCHAs to be filled out by people looking for free pr0n, makes me think that there's an even cheaper way to get these problems solved...
