Was up too early this morning. Flying to Monterrey, Mexico today for work. Car came at 5:10am. Good news is that I'm flying with co-workers who had spare upgrade coupons and lounge access, as the 2006 passes expire on Wednesday. Don't know if I'll get upgraded, but it's always nice not waiting at the gate.

Of course, the plane was delayed before we even got to the airport, so with the current schedule, I have 25 minutes to deplane, clear Mexican customs, check in to my connecting flight, and board. Who thinks I'll succeed?

We're still in the de-icing queue, and they're down to one departure runway this morning so there will be a queue for takeoff. I'm so needing to rebook when I hit Mexico City.

Anyone got a map of the Mexico City airport? I wonder if you can draw a map from gate 26, through customs, out to the departures concourse, over to checkin area B (AeroMexico), and then back in all the way to gate 28. That's a good loop.

EDIT: Here's the map. The red path is what I took. The dots are stairs. I technically had 1hr30min to connect, but between clearing customs (the guy looking at a passport), and boarding, it was no more than 30 mins.
